The city councils of Scranton and Rippey begin 2022 with new members following action taken at the December 2021 meetings.

The Scranton city council selected Dave Dideriksen to fill the two-year opening. He has previously served on the council and ran for the mayor’s job in 2021.

Jeremiah Geisler was picked for the four-year seat.

Dideriksen and Geisler are joined on the council by Zach Sukovaty, Cassidy Wilson and Dustin Gibson.

The Rippey city council had a vacancy when Jon Allen submitted his resignation in October. Bobbi Dollinger was selected to fill the seat until the next regular city election.
